- Amy and Resident Manager have Certificates of Completion
from the Division of Developmental Disabilities Adult Family Home "Specialty" training.
- Amy
and Resident Manager have Certificates of Completion from State of Washington, Aging & Adult Services Administration,
"Dementia Caregiving Specialty Training for Managers".
- Amy
and Resident Manager have Certificates of Completion from DSHS, Aging & Disability Services Administration, "Manager
Mental Health Specialty Training".
- Amy and Resident Manager have Nursing Assitant Register Certifications
in the State of Washington, and are Nurse Delegated.
- Amy earned her M.Ed. degree from Gonzaga Univerisity
in 2001, and was an Adjunct Professor for the Department of Special Education at Gonzaga University for over 8 years.
- Amy
was an Adjunct Professor for Whitworth University for over 3 years teaching graduate level Special Education courses.
- Amy
specializes in communication systems for individuals with autism spectrum disorders, including Picture Exchange Communication
System (PECS).
- Amy has published clinical research studies in peer-reviewed journals in the fields
of autism, language acquision, and functional analysis.
- Amy is an active community liaison with proven and
effective advocacy skills for persons with disabilities and their families.
- Amy is a member of the
Board of Directors of the Northwest Autism Center.
